Thatch Caye Resort offers adventure and island fun for two in a barefoot-casual environment. This is a special place offering incredible experiences that you cannot find anywhere else. Accommodations are breathtaking with a rustic Belizean feel, but include only the necessities, unlike your typical luxury hotel suite. You can find the TV, coffee and wifi in the Coco Lounge. We encourage community and wouldn't be surprised if you leave with a few new friends. You'll eat your meals together and be invited to join the daily adventures. It's perfectly fine if you decide to just hang on the island, but we will be going snorkeling, diving, fishing, etc. every day. The island is limited to 30 guests at a time, so prepare for a vacation that few ever get the chance to experience. Welcome to your private island.
Island Amenities: Coco Lounge with bar, lounge, and breakfast nook; Yoga and fitness platforms at Serenity Point. Private Honeymoon Palapa for romantic dinners. International airfare to BZE Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport, commuter airfare to Dangriga, off-island tours, SCUBA diving, Fishing & premium alcohol will be extra and not included in the package. Winner has free reign over the calendar except Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years's weeks. Room types included are oceanfront cabanas and premier oceanfront cabanas. Upgrade available for: $166.60 4 nights Overwater Bungalow; $357 4 nights for Premier Overwater Bungalow.
Testimonial from Patti Urban: Thatch Caye was wonderful!! We enjoyed everything the island experience had to offer. Our ocean-front accommodation was luxurious. We especially enjoyed the service staff and our daily visits with them. The all-inclusive meals were well prepared with lots of options, and the included island drinks were fun. The chef even prepared fish and lobster that people caught on various excursions. We enjoyed the kayaks and snorkel gear available to the guests. There were also stand-up paddle boards and even a Hobie catamaran we could have used. We booked a snorkeling trip to the Barrier Reef as well as a couples massage. It was a great experience where you could do as much or as little as you wanted.
