About Plants Delivered:

Plants Delivered Chicago was born from my passion for plants and my love for old trucks. Founded in December of 2019, PDC began as a side project that Gerald and I embarked on everyday after clocking out from our corporate gig. By April of 2020, we clocked out one day and never went back to the corporate grind.

We strive to be more than just another online plant shop, which is why we have partnered up with organizations like The Greater Chicago Food Depository to lend our platform and use our plant sales to raise money to create meals in the fight against food insecurity and hunger that plagues communities all around us. Since the creation of our "Feeding People Through Plants" initiative last March of 2020, we have created over 95,000 meals for neighbors in need in the city we love. As a child of Mexican immigrants, I believe it is my duty to lend my platform and reach to amplify the voices of those in communities of color that are disproportionally impacted by food insecurity, hunger, poverty, and violence.

We believe that no matter who you are, no matter what neighborhood you're in, that everyone gets a plant. That's why delivery is free across all of Chicago.

It's a dream to be able to drive around in my old ford, with my dog Gerald, and be able to find beautiful plants to share with other people.
