"This hand-crafted framed mini is a nod to the larger painting, "softly, as in a morning sunrise", that is also in the Water for Life Charity Auction. As I picture the sunflower fields of the Ukrainian people, I see their sunflowers swaying in the sunshine and light breeze. The sunflowers seem to sway and move with the gentleness and strength of the people that tend to its fields. Its stained-glass style reflects the light and love we all want to send to those struggling right now. May you find peace and strength as you support loved ones near and far."

Formally trained as a landscape architect, Katrina's work beckons the "outside-in" by depicting the natural world: flora & fauna in her yard, neighboring fields, and from her travels. Katrina & her husband live in a quirky, but modern, concrete home in Midway, Utah with their daughter and 4 sons.
