Museum Quality Carved Oak Sideboard with Winged Griffins

Description:

A museum quality tiger oak sideboard with full-bodied winged griffins and claw feet. There are dolphins on the doors and lion's head drawer pulls. Finish is all original and there is some trace of gold gilding on the carvings. There are some age splits in the griffin on the left which have occurred since these photos were taken. Mirrored backsplash has a beveled mirror and shelf above being supported by the winged griffins. Some drawers have velvet linings. Age splits in necks of griffins but structurally sound.

Piece measures 64" wide x 22" deep x 38-1/4" high to top of case and 57-1/4" high to top of mirror.
