Barrett Brooks was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round. He was the 58th overall pick. The Eagles acquired early success, going to the play-offs two out of the four years he was there. He then played for the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers and the New York Giants. After leaving the Big Apple, he was picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brooks played there for four years and eventually won Super Bowl "XL". This was a fitting end to a blessed 12 year career in the NFL. Barrett is currently a motivational speaker, and is spreading the message of hope and determination to youth across America.

Tra Thomas, the former first-round pick set a high standard for all future left tackles to follow. He entered the Eagles Hall of Fame in 2021 alongside Jon Runyan. The Eagles didn't have to worry about the left tackle position for over a decade, as Thomas played in 166 regular-season games from 1998-2008, the sixth most of any player in franchise history and second most by an offensive lineman behind Pro Football Hall of Famer Chuck Bednarik. Thomas is still heavily involved with the game of football. He was an assistant coach with the Eagles for two years and is now the offensive line coach at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, where his son, Jake, is - surprise - a left tackle.
