Team Food Insecurity/Human Services is led by Captain Jimmy Murray and Alternate Captain Gene Davis. This team will be raising funds to combat food insecurity and support human services efforts in Tampa Bay.

The Lightning team members drafted to team F are #18 Ondrej Palat, #21 Brayden Point, #38 Brandon Hagel, #44 Jan Rutta, and #79 Ross Colton.

Team Captain Jimmy Murray: "Nobody ever thinks it will happen to them, but then you hit rock bottom with thudding thunder. I know the pain. I have lived through it first hand. And I want to be the first to tell you you can get through it. After years of painstaking effort, good things come like a flash of lightning."

Alternate Captain Gene Davis: "Giving back to the community is in my DNA as a missionaries kid born in Ethiopia. My parents ministered in Africa and the Carolinas for many years and we were brought along in that environment, always! Today, I look to do something in or for the Community on a monthly basis. I also volunteer for running and other wellness events in the East Lake area. I have volunteered for several events with the Lightning before COVID. I sure miss what that chance provided- to help the Community while meeting and networking with fellow Thunder Bringers! Definitely a WIN WIN!"
