Christopher Anderson joined American Trust's Wealth Management team as a Business Development Consultant in June 2019 upon the completion of a successful career in public accounting as a CPA with Barr, Anderson & Roberts, PSC (former president) and Dean Dorton Allen Ford, PLLC (former director) in Lexington.

Having served as a member of the Unified Financial Services, Inc. Board of Directors and served clients for many years as a tax and business advisor, Chris is uniquely positioned to deliver a wealth of financial services experience to individuals, institutions and business owners.

Chris obtained his BA degree in Political Science and Business Administration from William Jewell College in Liberty Missouri and a Master of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. He is a licensed CPA in Kentucky and holds the professional designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF ) with FI360.

Chris is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and is an active member of the Kentucky Society of CPAs, serving on the Political Action Committee. He also serves as board member the Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions, Inc. and the Kentucky Civil War Roundtable, Inc.

Passionate about serving the local community, Chris is involved in the Lexington Rotary Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Southland Christian Church. His hobbies include Kentucky sports, history and entertaining his grandchildren. He and his wife Susan have three children and four grandchildren.
