Antique granite trough sink, 20x10x10", a perfect touch of history for your landscaping.

A trough is a long, narrow, open stone container, most often used to hold food or water for animals. The word 'troh' is an old English word, which means trough. They were hand carved out a single block of sandstone, limestone, granite or marble. Some were used in villages with a pump for water. Many troughs had tethering holes so that animals could be tied to them while drinking or eating. Troughs are a wonderful garden ornament, used for a water feature, a planter and/or a focal point in a garden. No two troughs are ever the same.
