Region: France : Cotes de Provence Grapes: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah

Profile: MEDIUM-BODIED, STRAWBERRY, WATERMELON, PEACH, NO OAK

Peyrassol was founded in the 13th century by the Knights Templar. This lean and precise Provencal rose has lively red fruit, a mineral backbone, and even some nice honeyed and caramel aromas. Ready to drink and perfect for light, summer-y fare and picnics.

2. A Thousand Gods Wine Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Region: Marlborough

Grape: Sauvignon Blanc

Winemaking: 60% 7 day maceration, 40% whole cluster, direct press, spontaneous fermentation in neutral oak and stainless steel with indigenousyeasts. No fining/ filtration. Aged 11 months in neutral oak and stainless steel, sur lie. 10mg/L added sulfur (low). Natural wine.

3. Chateau Pape Clement 'L'Ame de Pape Clement' Blanc Graves 2020

Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Semillon, Muscadelle Winemaking: Aged for 16 months in French oak, on the lees Pairing : Oysters

Profile : MED-BODIED, DRY, FLINT, CITRUS

Among the best dry whites of Bordeaux and of Pessac Leognan, this wine combines richness, concentration, and finesse. Like for the reds, thearomatic palette is both precise and full, with notes of citrus, green fruit, minerality and fine oak.

Very good bubbles from the iconic producer of California sparkling wines! Fresh and clean, the BdN from Schramsberg has crisp acidity and lushwhite fruit layered with a touch of toasty brioche. The very lovely finish is floral and honeyed.

5. Fatalone Gioia del Colle Primitivo 2021

Region: Italy : Apulia

Grape: Primotivo

Profile: MED-BODIED, DRY, BAKED FRUIT, TOBACCO, OAK

Azienda Agricola Petrera Pasquale (Fatalone) has been making wine in the Gioia def Colle region since the late 1800s. A winery with intense dedication to the earth, their certified organic farming practices prove to make exceptional Primitivo Gioia del Colle in three different styles, and one bianco made from the local Greco. Their belief in organic principles and renewables extends to the winery where only solar power is used to power the entire production.

Fatalone is a zero-emission winery. Stainless steel is used/or primary fermentation in all of the wines, and when oak is used, it is always large,old Slavonian oak. Sulphur is not used during vinification, and only a minimum but stabilizing amount is used at bottling, leading to a remarkably purity.

Winemaking : Natural/no added S02 (sulfur).

Profile: MED-FULL-BODIED, VELVET-Y, JUICY RED & BLACK FRUIT, "QUINTESSENTIAL MERLOT"

Another year, another Merlot! The 2019 is still the Olson Vineyard 100% Merlot. Big fruit and great acidity, this is a real zero-zero Merlot from Sonoma. Another serious natural wine with ageability. This is the last year produced at the Coturri Winery.
