Hinsdale Golf Club prides itself on maintaining the traditions on which the Club was founded and building upon its legacy. The Club of today would amaze its founders. More than one hundred years ago, they traveled by foot or horseback, to play on a rough pasture. This visionary group, with a zeal for the game of golf, transformed this land into a golf course and introduced a sport still obscure to most Americans. The Club has survived fires, wars, financial reversals, and more, as it has evolved into the Hinsdale Golf Club of today - a special place for its members and friends, just as it was a century ago.
