DEVELOPING DISCIPLES WITH THE FR. GARY BRAUN FUND
For more than 70 years, the Catholic Student Center at Washington University has been a beacon of formation and hospitality, welcoming students of all faiths and backgrounds. Our mission, shaped by Fr. Gary's leadership, is to ensure that every student who walks through our doors feels known, loved, and cared for. By fostering a nurturing environment, we provide formation that guides students in the way of Christ.
Now, we ask you to help continue building on what Fr. Gary put in place by supporting the creation of the Fr. Gary Braun Fund to support the formation and theological education of the students at Washington University.
This fund, conceived by Fr. Gary, will enable us to further strengthen our student and CSC Friends formation programs by engaging qualified campus ministers, visiting scholars and theologians. In addition, your gifts will help maintain the CSC's Herring House that houses a community of CSC ministers and plays a key role in nurturing the spirit of formation central to our ministry and to Fr. Gary's ongoing dream for the CSC.
We request your support to maintain Fr. Gary's legacy and fund his dream for our future. Your generous contributions, earmarked for the Fr. Gary Braun Fund, will provide vital support for:
Student programs and lectures to help form our students in Christ
Lectures and other ongoing programs from visiting scholars who work with students and CSC friends
Training for CSC ministry staff to help them better mentor student leaders Recruitment of theologians to support Young Catholic Scholars and other programs
Maintaining Herring House, a place where student and ministry staff formation and hospitality happen
