Essie's Original Hot Dog Shop, affectionately known as "The O" by Pittsburgh residents, closed in 2020 after 60 years in business. Now local, beloved, and sought after artist Linda Barnicott, captures memories of this Pittsburgh landmark, in her piece titled "Remembering the O." This vibrant and colorful piece showcases the famed restaurant as well as WQED broadcaster, producer and writer Rick Sebak who is featured front and center. Take home this unique print that will spark memories and conversations of memories at The O.
