"This is a Swedish-made Lundby dollhouse from the 1980s. The company began making dollhouses in the late 1940s and was reportedly the first to include electric lights. (The dollhouses use low-voltage, "child safe" system; I confirmed that the wiring still works but you would need to buy a transformer and lights. Etsy seller DottyBirdDesign has both.)

Lundby scale is 1:16. The typical dollhouse is 1:12 so most dollhouse furniture will seem a little large if used in a Lundby. You can find plenty of Lundby-manufactured furniture (and dolls) on eBay and Etsy from different errors. Petite Princess is another brand of dollhouse furniture that's a good scale for Lundby.

I made much of the furniture in your house - including the living room seating and table, the industrial table and bench in the kitchen, the bed and all the mirrors - using designs created by Dilly Dally Dollhouse. The kitchen cabinet/appliance piece was my homage to the kitchen in the Edith Farnsworth House designed by Mies van der Rohe.

The Facebook group Lundby lovers has lots of information and resources for these dollhouses, including free wallpaper patterns, old catalogs and a place to ask questions. I hope your family gets many hours of enjoyment from your Lundby."
