Embark the MS Serenissima and tour Scotland in style on this special National Trust for Scotland badged cruise for two guests with Noble Caledonia.

Remote islands, dramatic scenery, fine gardens, seabird watching, Jacobite history, relaxing nature walks, and more awaits you on this remarkable eight-day journey through the Hebrides and along the western coast of Scotland. National Trust for Scotland sites rich in natural and cultural history are among the many stops you will make, including Glenfinnan, Canna, Inverewe, St. Kilda, Staffa, Iona, and Arduaine & Crarae Gardens.

Day 1: Oban. Embark the MS Serenissima and sail along Loch Linnhe.

Day 2: Awake in Fort William, the largest town in the Highlands. Visit two of the best-known monuments in Scotland - the statue to commemorate Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite rising of 1745, and the Glenfinnan Monument, enjoying stunning views of Ben Nevis on the way. Watch the famous Jacobite steam train chug across the viaduct before traveling south to visit Glencoe.

Day 3: Canna & Loch Scavaig: Canna enjoys the best harbor in the Small Isles. The island has an incredibly rich plant life, with 248 native flowering plants recorded. See Canna House, and wander across grassy plateaus to the cliffs in the north of the island. Sail to lovely Loch Scavaig on the island of Skye. Take advantage of great walking country or explore the coastline looking out for seals.

Day 4: Inverewe & Shiant Islands. Visit Inverewe, one of the finest sited gardens in all Scotland. It was first designed by plant hunter Osgood Mackenzie in the late 19th century and is home to a multitude of exotic and tender plants. After a guided tour of the gardens, cruise around the spectacular basalt cliffs of the Shiant Islands.

Day 5: Awake this morning in St Kilda, a remarkable uninhabited archipelago beyond the Outer Hebrides. St Kilda is one of the few UNESCO World Heritage Sites with dual status, reflecting both its natural and cultural significance. Take the opportunity for a guided walk before cruising past two of the largest gannetries in the world, home to up to 60,000 breeding pairs of northern gannets.

Day 6: Staffa, Iona & Lunga. Drop anchor off the south of Staffa. The perpendicular rock face features a series of basalt columns, which has been cut by the sea into caverns, most notably Fingal's Cave. Sail to Iona, a flat Hebridean island that has been occupied for thousands of years and has been a place of pilgrimage for centuries. Visit the abbey where many early Scottish kings are buried or enjoy a walk along the white sandy beaches. Sail northwest to Lunga, an uninhabited volcanic islet described as 'a green jewel in a peacock sea'.

Day 7: Arduaine & Crarae Gardens. Sail along the Argyll coast to Ardfern, where you will visit two very special gardens. Visit Arduaine Garden, a delightful woodland garden beside the sea which is a paradise for plant lovers. Take a walk to the coastal viewpoint and enjoy views of the Sound of Jura or spend some time relaxing at the water garden. Then visit Crarae Garden, a Himalayan-style glen set in the gentle hills of Argyll. The garden's plants were by intrepid plant hunter Reginald Farrer from China, Nepal and Tibet. Surrounded by sparkling waters, this is a woody paradise of rocky gorges, wooden bridges, and thickets of trees blending with sprays of flowers.

Day 8: Disembark in Oban.
