This limited edition presentation pack includes one numbered engraved whisky glass and one numbered wooden coaster, specially crafted for the shop at Culloden Battlefield and Visitor Centre from a historic tree.

The ancient beech tree, witness to troop movements at Culloden, reached the end of its natural lifecycle after almost 300 years and was felled to build a new bridge over the River Nairn.

The woodwork and engraving have been skillfully crafted by Burgess Hay and his son son Scott Hay, the famous bagpipe makers from Dunphail near Forres, who have family links back to Culloden. Only 275 of these packs were made, to commemorate the 275th anniversary of the battle.
