This quilt was made by the Knife River Quilters at Knife River Lutheran Church. We are a small congregation of 200 members. Our quilting group is made up of 10 women from our church as well as the surrounding community and we have been making quilts for over 40 years. When there are not Covid restrictions we have about 4-6 women who meet together to sew and tie quilts once a week from Sept to May and the other members cut squares and sew at home. Our quilts go to Lutheran World Relief as well as locally to North Shore Horizons Shelter, Center for Changing Lives, local nursing homes and assisted living, families that have had fires, etc., and the Knife River Julebyen. Since June 2021 we have distributed 55 quilts. We seem to get a lot of pink fabric donations and we love to sew pretty quilts for the young girls that receive them. This beautiful quilt would be perfect for a daughter or granddaughter or a Mother's Day gift for a beloved mother or grandmother. The top is various shades of pink and lilac and the backing is a soft rose color with tiny swirls of pink. It comes with 2 color coordinated pillow cases in shades of pink and lilac.

Quilt Size: 63" x 84" -will fit a single or double bed . Pillowcases are standard size.

Fabric is Cotton and Polyester

Batting is Polyester

Binding and squares are machine sewn.
