This scrappy quilt is made up of hundreds of 2 1/2 inch blocks and triangles from batik fabric. The border, binding and backing are a beautiful rust colored batik.
I love quilting with batiks because of the vibrant colors and had so many left over 2 1/2" strips, blocks of various sizes made from 2 1/2" blocks, and other scraps. Trying to use up scraps, I made two queen sized quilts in this crossroads pattern. (I hate to admit that I still have a lot of scraps left)
The quilt has been machine quilted with a machine and hand stitched binding. It has warm and natural batting so it's not bulky but nice and warm.
