Invite 8-12 friends for a Wine Tasting that will be conducted by Joe Broski, Past President of the American Wine Society. In consultation with Joe, select price-appropriate wines for your tasting. Perhaps request that each of your guests bring one of the identified wines. Joe will guide your group through a tasting appropriate to their wine knowledge from the basics to understanding the intricacies of an advanced tasting. Joe will provide knowledge and tips for added dimension and resources to make the process even more fun and accessible; as well as stemware and tasting score sheets.


Joe developed an insatiable curiosity about wine in his late 20s (pre-internet days) and had the good fortune a few years later to meet others who shared his passion. He joined the American Wine Society in 1998 and progressed through the leadership roles, serving on the Board of Directors for eleven years - the last two as national president. Today, Joe belongs to several local, regional, and national wine groups. He was honored with an invitation to membership in the Dionysian Society International in 2005 and raised to Tastevin status in 2016. Joe has been invited to judge wine competitions in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Austria. His reviews of books on wine can be found on Amazon.com. His greatest enjoyment is learning more about wine, educating others, and sharing wine at dinners. Vacations are not complete without winery tours in the European countryside.
