Support the Artists
VIEW ARTArtShare for HeartShare
ArtShare for HeartShare is a program that develops the artistic talents of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through partnerships with museums, local visual and performing arts organizations, as well as a teaching artist-in-residence program, the artists and artisans are introduced to various techniques and creative disciplines across the visual and performing arts.
Founded in 2008, ArtShare produces an annual Gallery Exhibition of artwork and artisanal jewelry. Every year, our artists progress in their art, expressing themselves in beautiful and meaningful ways. These services are vital to a segment of the population that is often overlooked and whose voices often go unheard. HeartShare Human Services of New York, founded in 1914, continues to offer vital care and supports to New York City's most vulnerable children, adults and families, including a comprehensive array of services to those with differing abilities.
ArtShare is generously supported by The Taft Foundation and the Kenneth Goldman Donor Fund.
