This beautiful hand-painted Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa, beloved "Black Madonna" Patron of Poland, was purchased in Krakow, and is carefully displayed on a quarter-sawn oak stand crafted by Ephraim Pottery in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. The Madonna of this image is credited with repeatedly saving Poland from invasion, despite being damaged twice during the turbulence of Medieval wars. Now in the care of the Hermits of St. Paul at the monastery of Jasna Gora, this modern depiction of the traditional icon can bring comfort and beauty to your home's devotional space.
