Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom on the Himalayas' eastern edge, is known for its monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs) and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys.

Artist Bio: Stephanos is a published Arizona Highways photographer. He is originally from the island nation of Cyprus. His passion for photography started when he was 14 years old. This passion has resulted in extensive traveling within the United States as well as countries such as India, Cambodia, Tibet, Bhutan, Peru, Nepal, China, Japan, Spain, Tibet, Liechtenstein, and Antarctica. Stephanos also photographs in Cyprus and Greece when he visits family with his wife, Olga Tsoudis. Currently he is the Vice President of the Board of Directors at Arizona Highways PhotoScapes. His interests in photography are nature, travel, and culture.
