About Tim and John:

Tim Dolan is an actor and the owner of Broadway Up Close Tours and Gifts in NYC. Combining his passion for performing and quest to unearth Broadway's history, Tim created a series of tours in NYC that illuminate the history, ghost stories, and inner workings of the 41 Broadway theaters around Times Square. In 2019 he opened the first Gift Shop in Times Square that offers handmade souvenirs all made by artists and performers.

Tim made his Transport Group debut in our revival of Once Upon A Mattress in the pivotal, life-changing role of Knight #3, after playing Knight #1 in his high school production of the same show.

John Cariani is an established actor and playwright. He has been seen on Broadway in the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof as Motel the Tailor for which he earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. He has also appeared in the 2015 runaway hit Something Rotten! as Nigel Bottom and the 2017 Tony Award winning musical The Band's Visit. Most recently he appeared in the 2021 revival of Caroline, or Change. At Transport Group, he has performed in Almost, Maine, Picnic, Come Back, Little Sheba.

John's critically acclaimed 2001 play, Almost, Maine, was recently adapted into a book by the same title.
