Havana 7H was offered our inaugural "Power of the Brands", as a nine-month-old prospect from Jorge Maldonado. Marcos had already identified him as one that we needed to develop together. He caught the eye of Allen for his quality, extension and square design. He has developed to our expected potential. Havana has matured from an exciting calf to a full-fledged herd sire ready to start his genetic career.

Now Havana is one of spotlight offerings of our 2022 Red Carpet sale offering. He is showing himself to be a bull with performance, a majestic head turning style and tremendous dimension from every angle. In the pursuit of offering the breed our very best, we are offering his full possession while retaining 2/3rd semen interest. We believe in the future of Havana as a powerful genetic contributor and want to share in this future with a new partner.

His paternal influence is led by Yucca 428B, who brings the style, elegance and power of Yucatan with the maternal superiority of the 428 family. His maternal influence brings a twist that that has not been seen blended with Yucatan. Buffaloe's Miss Highlands 7B4 brings the sire power of Highway, Talento and Chief Cardinal. This genetic package of Havana will not be found anywhere else in the breed.
Havana has always been an individual that causes a double take. He caught judges' eye in stiff competition winning Junior Calf Champion at the 2020 IBBA National Show of Merit, Reserve Junior Calf Champion at the 2021 IBBA National Show at The International, Reserve Junior Calf Champion at the 2021 IBBA Texas Invitational and, most recently, Junior Champion at the San Antonio Livestock Show.

Studying his genetic profile, Havana ranks in the Top 10% for CED, Top 25% BW in the February IBBA EPD rankings. His actual performance speaks volumes with an Adjusted WW of 718 from his BW of 70, talk about a growth spread. His adjusted YW of 1193, shows the ability to continue the growth curve. Adding to his growth metrics is a very desirable set of carcass trait measurements.
