Sidney 81F2 represents our belief in reaching across fence lines to improve our genetic program and further the Red Brangus breed. Bred by Indian Hills Brangus, we feel very fortunate for the opportunity to partner in her. For us she offers an outcross pedigree of proven and fresh bloodlines in with the same high level of design and style that has distinguished our cattle. Not only is Sidney 81F2 a head turner phenotypically, her EPD profile has the potential to elevate the Red Brangus breed.

In her show career Sidney received the admiration of judges and spectators alike. She received the prestigious purple banner as the Brangus Futurity Grand Champion female and was Reserve Grand Champion Female at the Texas Invitational.

Studying her pedigree, one will quickly recognize she is the product of two Black Brangus parents that are known red gene carriers. She is the type of innovative Red Brangus so many are seeking. Her sire IH Rudder 504Y2is a recognized sire of performance, stylish cattle. He was the 2015 National Reserve Grand Champion Bull and Show Bull of the Year. Innovative line breeding by Indian Hills resulted in this mating. Think of all the Red Brangus bulls that she will compliment!

Sidney 81F2 gifted us with two beautiful heifer calves sired by Cortez 175C6.and Turbo 600/9. Both heifers impressed up so much, we have flushed her to both sires. In this edition of the Red Carpet sale, we are offering the mating to Turbo 600/9.

In his first calf crop, Turbo is living up to our expectations. His calves are moderate frame, weaning with pounds on the ground. They are packed with the same skeletal width and dimension as their sire, with quality from end to end.
