This is an original piece crafted by renowned artist and alumna CEC grandparent, Anne Fallin. Anne has been acknowledged by critics for strong structural designs, and by the public for art they want to live with, Anne Fallin says of her work: "Although I am serious about painting, I hope my paintings make the viewer experience pleasure or even amusement. The apparent light-hearted mood of my paintings stems from my commitment to communicate the upbeat and positive things in life. My goal is to make viewers share my enthusiasm for the subject. If they feel an uplift - a "charge" - finding themselves positively involved with the painting, I have successfully bridged the gap between what triggered me to paint and what is on the paper for others to see."
The recipient of several hundred awards, Fallin has exhibited throughout the country, earning signature membership in the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, California Watercolor Society (Master Status), Watercolor West, and Midwest and Pennsylvania Watercolor Societies. Primarily a watercolorist, she occasionally works in pastel. Her paintings are in public and private collections in many foreign countries as well as throughout the United States.
