PSALM 1: 1-3

This one-of-a-kind art was hand crafted by 7th grade art students under the direction of middle level art teacher, Ms. Nicole Karbowski.

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of IWA, students chose a brick that was salvaged from the Incarnate Word Chapel as the base of the tree.

The cherry blossom tree was created using wire, foil and beads.

The base of the project represents the strong foundation of Catholic Faith that Incarnate Word Academy was built upon and the blooming tree is a reminder that our community is truly blessed.

Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither-
whatever they do prospers.

- Psalm 1:1-3
