This course was originally designed by famed golf course architect George Cobb in 1961 and has undergone improvements by Arnold Palmer in 1986; a redesign by Tom Fazio in 1997 and modifications to several holes by Tom Fazio in 2016. The par four 14th hole measures 348-yards and is a dogleg left that can be driven with a good tee shot. The 17th is a 221-yard par three over water. This is a special course where the lucky winner will get an opportunity to play where the greats play. The winning bidder will be allowed to bring two friends for a round of 18 holes, golf cart included. The winner will play with a Quail Hollow member at a date and time that is agreed upon with the member after the auction is complete. Quail Hollow does not have tee times which is why the date and time must be decided after the auction is complete.
