Empathy, the act of walking in someone else's shoes, is the theme for the fifth-grade students' project. Each student's shoe print was traced onto a 48" x 48" canvas in an overlapping pattern. The overlapping shoe prints represent the connections that we all have with one another and the world around us. The traced shoe prints created a beautiful, swirled pattern that was painted by the students in blue and green hues to create this statement piece of abstract art.
