At the age of 10, L Hutchens, Owner/Stylist started dreaming of becoming a shampoo girl at a salon where she would sweep the floors, talk to the clients, and provide the best service of all-the hair wash massage. She achieved her goal at the tender age of 15 and by then she was immersed in an industry and culture that has now captivated her for over 20 years.

As someone who values wearable hair, it is of the utmost importance to give her clients cuts and styles they are able to achieve at home. She has built her career around two techniques that have been central to her passion and brand: dry cutting and balayage highlights.
