5 Watchers

Days after the tragedy of 9/11, the United States responded with a daring insertion of several Green Beret teams into Afghanistan. Those who were mounted on horseback became known as the "Horse Soldiers," & their exploits are portrayed in books & the Hollywood blockbuster 12 Strong starring Chris Hemsworth.

Upon retiring from the Army, Former Green Beret & Horse Soldier, Scott Neil, and several of his team entrepreneurially formed American Freedom Distillery to produce a premium line of bourbons. While promising to "Never Forget" the team bottled their award-winning spirit, Horse Soldier Bourbon Whiskey, in custom glass forged by steel recovered from the World Trade Center to commemorate those who lost their lives.

Every bottle, as they like to say, is its own little memorial to those lives lost.

This bottle is of their AWARD WINNING SMALL BATCH Whiskey, and is signed by TWO of the original Horse Soldiers. Mark Nutsch, the Captain of the ODA 595 Green Beret Team (the man Hemsworth played in the movie), and the man on the logo of the bottle, and Master Sergeant Scott Neil, now the President of American Freedom Distillery. True American Heroes, when America needed them the most
