October 27 - November 2, 2022

Enjoy seven nights of lodging and five full days of hunting on the western slope of the beautiful Rocky Mountains near Gunnison, Colorado. A genuine western style hunting experience for up to four hunters on the 640 acre private land, Renbarger Family Ranch. The ranch sets at an elevation of 8,500 feet, next to the West Elk Wilderness of the Gunnison National Forest and is surrounded on three sides by public land.

Lodging is available at the ranch with cabins and bunks with limited facilities (roughing it!).

Arrive the evening of October 27 and stay through November 2, 2022. Be ready to hunt for the big one on October 29 through November 2. This is during the second season rifle hunt in Unit 54, Gunnison County. Bull tags are unlimited over the counter and are not inlcuded with the purchase of this trip. It is the responsibility of the winning bidder/bidders to obtain Colorado hunting licenses and elk tags. Be aware that an hunter born after 1949 must have a current hunter safety card to purchase a hunting license in Colorado.

Elk are free roaming, wide ranging animals. Therefore there are no gurantees in a fair chase hunt. Your hunt may be affected by weather conditions, your preparation and shooting ability are additional factors you should consider. However, the Renbarger Family Ranch has been the location of many, many successful elk hunts for more than 20 years.

The successful. bidder(s) of this offering will be required to sign a standard release of liability waiver. The ranch manager will be present and available to assist with any needs during the hunt. This will be a truly memorable experience for anyone who wants to experience nature in its most pristine state.
