FIRST, be captivated during an engaging private tour of The Metropolitan Museum of Art - Cloisters on a Friday in April or May 2022, when the gardens will be in bloom. The Cloisters is one of the most peaceful and idyllic spots in NY, and its world-class collection of medieval art, four secluded cloisters, park land, and gardens make for a truly memorable experience!

THEN, on Friday, May 13, 2022, Nadja will lead your group on a fun and interactive tour of "In America: An Anthology of Fashion," which opens on May 7 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This special exhibition explores fashion in the U.S. Mise-en-scènes will highlight the role of dress in shaping American identity and address the complex and layered histories of American Wing Period rooms.
After the tour, enjoy lunch with Nadja in the member's private dining room at The Met.

Nadja Hansen owns and runs Art Explorations and teaches for The Met - Cloisters and the Morgan Library and Museum. She has lectured for The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in NYC and The Wallace Collection in London. She is an on-air specialist for the Travel Channel's Mysteries at the Museum. She has an MA in Art History from the University of Chicago, and an MA in Museum Education from University College London (UCL).
