Sculptor Mark Lundeen is a gifted storyteller with his bronzes. His style is highly detailed realism, and he has the ability to capture a moment in time. A native of Holdrege, Nebraska, Mark graduated from the University of Nebraska in Kearney before traveling in Europe and the Mediterranean, where he decided to make sculpture his life's work. He moved to Loveland, CO in 1982. A member of the National Sculpture Society and Allied Artists of America, he has monumental and life-size sculptures in over 100 cities, including Statuary Hall in the Capitol Building, Washington, D.C., and the Baseball Hall of Fame in Coopertown, NY.

The Fountain Hills Public Art collection includes two of his pieces- Abraham Lincoln seated on a bench in Fountain Park, and "A Good Book" outside the Town Library.

Dimensions are 13"x12" and 27" tall.
