Timbergate Golf Course is one of the four Indiana courses rated to be a "good value" by Golf Digest, and the only one south of Indianapolis. Timbergate is located in Edinburgh, IN just off of I-65 at exit 80.Timbergate is owned by the town of Edinburgh and is named for the rich history of wood crafting the town is built upon. Located near the Edinburgh Premium Outlet shopping facility and Indiana Grand Casino. Timbergate is another first rate addition to this growing community. Designed by Clyde Johnston with Indiana native Fuzzy Zoeller, Timbergate is one of the premiere public courses in Indiana. The complete links style design was geared by Fuzzy to be both challenging to experienced players as well as playable by higher handicappers.

Each hole has five or more bent grass tee beds to vary the yardage of the course from 5000 to 7000 yards. Eleven ponds and several bunkers skirt the bent grass fairways and greens. Blue grass and fescue roughs surround every hole giving each its own identity.

The Legends Golf Club

When Jim Fazio was hired to be the golf course architect for The Legends Golf Club in 1991, he was given a stiff challenge by Ted Bishop, PGA General Partner. Build a course on a 330-acre corn field that can handle championships at the highest level, and at the same time, make it fun and friendly for the average golfer. That would define what The Legends GC would become in so many ways- all things to all people.
