ARTISTIC DIRECTOR ANGEL CORELLA HAS CREATED A SPECIAL PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES:

String Sextet-choreographed by Angel and set to Tchaikovsky's exquisite Souvenir de Florence performed live by a string ensemble from the Philadelphia Ballet Orchestra led by concertmaster Luigi Mazzocchi, followed by pas de deux featuring Philadelphia Ballet company members. The featured pas de deux include the stirring Fourth Campaign pas from George Balanchine's Stars and Stripes.

The evening closes with Bourbon St., choreographed by Angel Corella and Russell Ducker with music by Louis Prima and the Barcelona Hot Angels. Bourbon St. is a high-energy, character-driven work that is an homage to the nightlife of New Orleans, and features the Lindy Hop, a swing-era dance-craze.
