Decorative Holladay Distillery Bourbon Barrel Head & Distillery Tour for 4

The Holladay Distillery offers the unique opportunity to explore over 160 years of history and witness Real Missouri Bourbon being made. You'll peer into the limestone spring first discovered by Lewis and Clark in 1804. You'll step inside the stillhouse that dates back to the mid-1800s when Ben Holladay first started using limestone water to make bourbon and you'll walk among the aging barrels that are stacked in our bonded warehouses. Most importantly, you will see, smell, taste, and touch Real Missouri Bourbon being made using the original recipe from over 160 years ago.

Tours last approximately 90 minutes, including a Bourbon tasting.

Holladay Distillery was founded in 1856, making it both the oldest distillery in the state of Missouri and the oldest distillery west of the Mississippi still operating on its original site.

Ben Holladay Bourbon is classified as a Real Missouri Bourbon under a 2019 law requiring that any whiskey labeled as Missouri bourbon must not only meet the federal standards for bourbon, but also be mashed, fermented, distilled, aged, and bottled in the state; aged in oak barrels manufactured in the state; and-beginning January 1, 2020-made with corn exclusively grown in the state.
