The "SWAT Experience" winner will begin the day by meeting with SWAT officers at the SWAT hangar and receive a tour of the facility where all vehicles and weaponry are stored. The tour will include a vivid explanation and description of each piece of armor utilized by SWAT.

Following the facility tour, the winner will get to ride across town in an armored vehicle (either the Bear or BearCat depending upon availability), to the location of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's firearm and SWAT ranges. Once there, the winner will be exposed to all aspects of the SWAT bureau, including the:

• Sniper Team: A complete description of and demonstration by the snipers will be given; you will learn about a sniper's positioning, responsibilities, types of weapons and what a weapon's platform is. Following this discussion the winner will have the opportunity to shoot each of the weapons while under the control and direction of a designated sniper.
• Breacher Team: At the breaching section, the winner will learn from a designated explosive Breacher about his role, positioning, responsibilities and a general overview of the explosive breaching capabilities. Following this discussion a live breaching demonstration will be given to show how SWAT officers are able to gain entry via the use of explosive charges and witnessing the difference between various types of breaches.
• Low Lethal Team: At the SWAT shooting range, a complete explanation of low lethal weapons is given, along with a description of the gas/low lethality operator's role, positioning and responsibilities. Following this discussion each low lethal weapon will be demonstrated, and the winner will have the opportunity to shoot a variety of low lethal and lethal weapons while under the direction and control of a designated officer.
• Entry Team: At the nearby FBI house, a complete description of the entry role of SW AT will be discussed, including positioning and individual/team responsibilities. The winner will then be able to observe from above, a live demonstration of SW AT Officers searching and clearing the house.
