Artist Bio:

Blaze and Ember, are our other resident African Crested porcupines. They are 9 years old and enjoy spending their day snoozing in their burrow, when they're not enjoying their diets skillfully prepared by their keeper. Blaze, a sweet and laid back guy, and Ember, an inquisitive and smart lady, enjoy working together on their artistic creations. By using their feet to mix the paint colors together and walking across the canvas, they are able to create unique works of art. Blaze and Ember may seem lazy during the day, but African Crested porcupines are nocturnal creatures so they are the most active during the evening hours of the day.
