ARTIST BIO/STATEMENT
As an artist it is my job to explore and create based on my experiences. I currently work as a
Firefighter/Paramedic and spend my time serving in the local church. I find that within these structures I have ample material to draw from and explore.

My current illustrations and painting
series explore the links between these two drastically different worlds as well as their similarities and how we respond within our own cultural framework.

I hold a BFA in oil painting from Western Michigan University and seminary training at Capitol Seminary. I have had several group shows on the East Coast and Mid-West. I have also shown internationally with group and solo shows in Berlin, Germany.

I currently reside in York, Pennsylvania with my wife and 4 kids and have been excited to explore the creative energy and community in and around York County.
