"Spread the Love"
Bill & Kim Kerlin together with Creative York and the York community are looking to spread LOVE throughout the City of York.
The Kerlins are donating monies to fund the purchase of Dale Roger's "Love" sculpture. They are encouraging others to donate to Creative York to help further "spread love" through York. For each threshold of $5,000 received in matching monies to this campaign, Bill & Kim will provide further funding to allow for the purchase of two additional "Love" sculptures.
The "Love" sculptures will be placed outside City Hall on S. George St, along the rail trail/Codorus Creek at West Princess Street and along the rail trail immediately behind Keystone Kidspace.
Why public art? "Public art adds enormous value to the cultural, aesthetic and economic vitality of a community.
