  • Traditional Thai Basket
  • Various Thai Delicacies

  • The large yellow package in the back is a very popular snack commonly eaten at college/younger crowd bars with a few drinks. It has a salty, slightly spicy, slightly fishy taste as they are made of squid and fish. If you want to try them a different way, fry them until they are crispy and brittle!
  • The larger red package with the words "Rice noodles and instant Korat sauce" is a very popular pad thai brand. This is a food you've probably eaten before and easy to make.
  • The clear package with the dried herbs is an herb mix for Tom Yam soup. This soup is also very popular and can be made with any meat but usually made with shrimp or chicken. Add some coconut milk to make it creamier and cloudier if you'd like or just keep it as a clear
    soup.
  • The brown package is a spice mix for Pa Low. This is commonly made with thicker chunks of
pork belly and eggs. The longer you braise it, the more delicious and tender it is! This is actually a dish heavily influenced by Thailand's large Thai-Chinese population!
  • On both sides you will find a bottle of Leo beer. This is the slightly more expensive "cheap beer" commonly drunk in Thai bars by Thais. It is only roughly 3 cents more per bottle than
Thailand's largest and most famous beer, Beer Chang but if you ask me, it won't leave you with a pounding headache like its larger green elephant rival.
  • You will find the only non-food product in the middle. This is a large white tea sock. This is the secret to authentic Thai milk tea. Many westerns or Thai restaurants in the U.S. will skip this crucial step when making Thai milk tea.
  • The larger white and red bag next to the tea sock is the most authentic and if you ask us, the
only tea you should use to make Thai milk tea.
  • In front of the tea products is a white seasoning pack for laab moo, or in English minced
pork. This should be used with ground pork or sliced pork neck, pork neck is a tender, slightly fatty cut of pork. Delicious for grilling and topping with this seasoning.
  • The yellow seasoning packet is my (Robert's) personal favorite Thai dish. It is called Kua Kling. This is a spicy dish made with the seasoning and ground pork from the southern region
of Thailand. It should be a dryer ground pork stir fry.
  • The final seasoning pack is a curry paste used to make Kao Soy. This is a creamy Northern Thai curry with a large chicken drumstick, egg noodles and pickled veggies, onions and lime as garnish.
  • The small blue bottle is the original Thai Red Bull. Yes, Red Bull was invented in Thailand by Thais. Its creator later started an international partnership in Austria where it became world
famous. If you want a 'wake up', this will do it. Compared to western Red like, ''it was originally 'created by a pharmacist but still used as a commonly drankenergy drink.
  • The large dome container is a delicious popular snack made from Thai pumpkin chips. Enjoy!
  • Finally, the fruit dipping sauce in the front. This is a sugary syrup that is delicious with harder fruits to dip such as sour mango (stiffer than ripe mango), apples, guava or Asian pears. If you want to make it extra authentic, add chili powder (yes, chili powder and fruit) or tiny dried shrimp from your local Asian supermarket, mix in, dip and eat!
