It was a beautiful and fun night this past Friday at Detroit Uncorked! Thank you to all of sponsors and guests who supported and attended the event.  We appreciate your support in granting wishes! Also a big thank you to all of our restaurant, beverage, and auction donors, along with our amazing volunteers! This event would not be possible without you!

We are thrilled to announce that thanks to your generosity, we raised $97,000 to bring hope, joy, and comfort to our wish families! THANK YOU!!

About Detroit Wine Organization

The DWO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated in 2002. Our mission is to promote the education and enjoyment of wine, and the great wines and wine experts in our local market, while benefiting other local charities. In fact, since 2002, the DWO has raised more than $1,700,000 for metro Detroit charities. We accomplish our mission by hosting events that are both educational and fun.

Our ever-growing membership base -currently 4,000 strong -is comprised of people of all ages and from all walks of life, whose wine experience ranges from those with very little experience to others with vast knowledge. What they share is a desire to explore the joys of wine while meeting others with similar interests.

Our charity partners are locally based organizations that our members believe in and support.

Our sponsors range from local wine distributors and suppliers to local businesses big and small

who believe in the mission.

About The Rainbow Connection

The Rainbow Connection (TRC) was established as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 1985. Our mission -granting wishes to Michigan children battling life-threatening medical conditions.

A wish helps to strengthen and empower children in battling their illness by enriching the human experience with hope, anticipation, and joy. A wish allows a child the ability to look past their condition and gives precious time with family to create memories they can all treasure. Since 1985, they have granted an average of 150 wishes each year and over 3800 wishes since their inception.

Over 86% of every dollar donated goes directly to programs and services for children with life-threatening illnesses.
