Beautiful handwoven baskets from Zimbabwe.

You may be tempted to use these baskets only for decoration, but they are sturdy, and can hold up to your most creative use!

Perhaps for your dinner table filled with warm rolls or fresh tortillas? Or, near the front door as the place you 'remember' your keys? Perhaps a basket of fruit as a centerpiece or gift? A party? What better way to set out the pretzels and chips - then you can tell your guests just where you found these treasures!

These beautiful baskets are made from hand-spun twine made of sisal, which grows in the in central Zimbabwe and is wrapped over thick coils of grass. These beautiful, thick-walled and sturdy baskets with striking patterns are made by the women who live in the area of St. Theresa's Hospital.

Beautiful and utilitarian, you will be able to pass these on to the next generation!
