We are back and looking forward to a night of fun benefiting kids born with congenital heart defects. We're going retro and bringing back some of our all-time, favorite Heartfest traditions: red boas, live music by the Morton College Faculty Jazz Trio and the Hey Jimmy Band, Plinko, the candy bar, late-night pizza and more! Open bar and buffet dinner.

Back by popular demand! We are hosting a pre-event reception from 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. for families who have been impacted by congenital heart disease. It will provide an opportunity to mingle with others who have been affected by heart disease.

One hundred percent of proceeds will benefit promising medical research, summer camp scholarships for heart kids, and high school cardiac screenings in the Chicagoland area.

Our Story

In support of all children born with congenital heart defects and medical practitioners and researchers who advance congenital heart defect research, the Mend a Heart Foundation supports initiatives that extend and enrich the lives of children born with congenital heart defects.

To date, the foundation has raised more than $1 million toward causes that support our mission. For information about what we have funded, click here.

The Mend a Heart Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. The organization has no paid employees and is run strictly by volunteers. One hundred percent of proceeds are directed toward initiatives that support our mission.
