Copper Coil 04, 2016. Copper coil with patina, 24 x 31 x 18 in.

Tohono O'odham basket weaver Terrol Dew Johnson and Tucson and NYC-based architects Aranda\Lasch (Ben Aranda and Chris Lasch) collaborated in 2016 to create works for MOCA Tucson's memorable exhibition, Meeting the Clouds Halfway. Ranging from basketry to architecture, this fruitful collaboration explores the desert surroundings of Tucson as a place of inspiration, opportunity, and community. Copper Coil 04 showcases the essence of this exhibition, blending traditional craft with contemporary design.

If this item will be shipped outside of Tucson, a $125 shipping fee will automatically be added to the final purchase price.
