You won't find better access to Okemo's 121 ski trails than you'll find here! Simply strap on your skis, head out your door, and cross the road to the trail to the Sachem Quad chairlift, which will take you directly to the slopes. If your trip falls during the warmer months, make sure to bring your tennis racket and swimsuit for the nearby courts and pool on premises

There are plenty of fun-filled activities during every season at Okemo, but if you'd like to explore a bit beyond the slopes, you'll find many worthwhile day trips. Head just a few miles east into Ludlow's charming downtown for a day of country store shopping and exploring notable sites. Bone up on the town's fascinating history at the Black River Academy Museum, pick up Vermont-made goods at the Wine and Cheese Depot, or lace up some sturdy shoes for a creekside hike to picturesque Buttermilk Falls. You could also take a scenic drive along Route 100 to sightsee in other quaint villages, including Cavendish, Baltimore, Weston, and Mt. Holly, each with unique, small-town appeal.
