With hiking trails, golf, lakes for swimming & boating, mountain biking, and more available locally, there is something for everyone. Be sure to stop by in March for the much-awaiting sugaring season, where you can watch Maple Magic and the harvesting of Vermont's Liquid Gold.

Feel like shopping? A 12-minute drive from the Cortina Mountain Chalet you will find Downtown Rutland, Vermont's 3rd largest city offering small local shops, big box stores, as well as local restaurants, and nationwide franchise favorites.

When you're ready to come in from the outdoors, you are welcomed into a cozy yet spacious living room with many large windows and high ceilings with lots of natural light and superb mountain views. Warm-up with a cup of hot cocoa from the well-appointed kitchen, then enjoy a family meal at the dining room table. Or head out to Killington Road for quality local apres-ski and fine dining fare.
