It is with mixed emotions that we offer our complete Aberdeen herd in this dispersal sale. Our construction business is consuming most of our time and consequently we have made the difficult decision to sell our entire herd and genetic inventory. They will be sold without reserve.
Our 2021 bull calves were all steered and will be retained. Their birthdates are listed in their dams' footnotes.
All efforts have been made to present accurate information in the sale cattle including pregnancy status. Females were pregnancy checked on September 21 and those that were not far enough along to detect on that day will be rechecked the week before the sale. Bulls were active breeders this summer. This is a dispersal sale and no further guarantees are made or apply.
The sale cattle are located at Chad Skager's place in Taylor, North Dakota. They can stay there while transportation arrangements are being made until November 30 at no cost to the buyers. After November 30, there will be a charge of $4 per head per day. Chad's address is 4349 94th Ave SW, Taylor, North Dakota. Semen, embryos and the semen tank are stored at TK Veterinary Service, Glen Ullin, ND. Shipping and handling charges are estimated to be about $150 per shipment, depending on the destination. This Auction has a horse race style finish. Every time someone bids during the last 5 minutes of the auction the clock will extend 5 more minutes until no one bids for an entire 5 minutes. Please note that this countdown duration may be changed without notice during the auction.
SmartAuctions will invoice all buyers and release the lot after payment is received. PAYMENT IS DUE UPON RECEIPT. A credit/debit card will be required ONLY to verify identity of bidders, but you will not be charged for your purchases on your card UNLESS you choose that option or you have not paid for your purchases prior to 30 days after the auction closes. Your credit card will be charged if payment has not been received within 30 days after purchase or arrangements have not been communicated. If your credit card payment is declined at the 30 days your purchase will accrue an interest of 6%. If you pay with a card you will be charged a 5% transaction fee.
