This item is a trip for three guests of about 5 hours on the water this 2022 summer on a date to be agreed upon. Holiday weekends are generally excluded as we patrol for the US Coast Guard Auxiliary then. Plan to launch from Cave Rock on the east shore about 10AM to miss the morning chill and return to the launch ramp by 4PM though times can be adjusted to suit your schedule. Cave Rock is a 20 minute drive from Carson City.

One popular trip is to Emerald Bay on the west shore where the Viking castle, tea house, boat in campground and numerous bird nests are located. We can anchor near an active nest to watch and photograph the birds while eating a picnic lunch with wine or other drink. The birds mate in the spring months (cool boating weather) and chicks appear in late spring. Each year a few nests are occupied until September but not beyond. To best enjoy this trip most people have scheduled it during June through September.

If this sounds too relaxing, an alternative trip is to circle the lake as we pull you on a tow toy!

Our boat has stand up headroom in the forward berthing area, galley, and enclosed head. It has a mid-berth under the helm which makes the boat tall. The I/O engine at the stern is completely under the deck, giving more room to move around. The boat is very comfortable with us and 3 guests though we can handle 4 especially if two are children.
