About the Book: Eldorado Canyon is a historic, classic rock climbing destination. Steve Levin's newest edition is the most comprehensive guide for Eldorado Canyon State Park. Offering traditionally protected, sandstone cliffs up to 700ft, and just a short drive from Boulder. This guidebook is a must-have on any rock climber's bookshelf. Steve Levin's first climb was a guided ascent in 1972 of the Upper Exum in the Tetons, an experience that instilled in him a love and respect for the mountains. Since then Steve has travelled and climbed throughout the US and abroad. His favorite Colorado climbing areas are Eldorado Canyon (for which he wrote the guidebook); the Black Canyon of the Gunnison; and the granite walls of Rocky Mountain National Park. Steve is an AMGA Certified Rock Guide, a Wilderness First Responder, and an AMGA Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) Provider. He also works as an Adaptive Climbing Trainer with Paradox Sports. He lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife Sheryl Lehman.
